Home on the Range

My life is pretty normal, if you consider having 3 horses and 3 dogs normal. I will say this, my world is never lacking for adventure. I have 2 pure bred Arabians their names are Elvis and Midknight. I have one National Show Horse (1/2 Arab 1/2 Saddlebred) named Monte Kristo. All of my horses picked me. Elvis is my mischievous fathiful friend, he's always there for me and never lets me down. Midknight is my sensitive guy give him your heart and he will never let you down, give him your whip and get ready for a rough ride. Kristo is my brat he lost his mother at an early age and was raised by humans, (if you know horses at all this explains alot) but he's curious and into everything. Just the other morning i went into the barn to feed and found him standing in the isle way waiting for me he had pulled his stall door off it's hinges, was unhurt, and had re-arranged the barn more to his liking.

My dogs, they are the reason i get up in the morning. No, seriously it's hard to sleep with a 65lb blue healer on your head (roper). Jesse (great dane weighing 160) is a mama's boy. His entire goal in life is to get me on the couch so he can lay in my lap. Then there's Beau (yellow lab) he's the best dog in the world. he actually obeys. He also would play fetch until his heart gave out, no matter what the weather was like.

My husband Chris is in the United States Air Force he's stationed here in Wichita Falls, Tx to be an instructor. His passion in life is Team Roping. We are currently working on getting him set up with guys to rope with and a horse. (oh joy a Quarter Horse in the barn with my Arabians) I'll try to forgive him but I can't say how my horses will feel. I really don't have anything against Quarter Horses so long as they don't have a bad attitude. I've met a few that did and it turned me away from them.

So this is basically my life, everyday is a new adventure. There's bound to be a few laughs, hope you stick around to find out.
